Pros

Free lunch every day, office in a decent location

Cons

Drama within management level employees (specifically infidelity), no real processes in place to scale the company/ strategy focused on new customers and not retention, sketchy marketing tactics with fake Craigslist posts that actually go to the HS website, cliquey company culture, do not pay employees equally or fairly

Pros

Family like team, free lunches, nerf basketball, passionate management, killer office, dedicated team.

Cons

We could have done a better job of creating and utilizing practical core company values that the entire company agreed to and implemented (this is not ceo or upper management’s fault, they tried to have us come up with new ones at company all-hands).

Pros

Company-paid meals (you'll need this because there are zero breaks). You'll bond with your closest teammates over this traumatizing experience and walk away with lifelong friends.

Cons

Toxic environment with unrealistic goals that do not serve the customer or client -- all focused on optics to raise more money. Too many meetings. CEO doesn't trust anyone, thinks he is the smartest person in the room, egomaniacal (even though he has no background/knowledge of real estate and last startup went bankrupt). Laughable "tech platform" - no fault of engineers, CEO refuses to compensate people properly, hired all junior people to do senior roles. No scalable processes. Policies change every single day and are only communicated via Slack. Very cliquey culture, especially at HQ in SF. Remote markets have no support, yet unreasonable goals. Lots of bait and switch ads and marketing. Zero strategy for lead generation (everything is Craigslist or fake ILS listings). Not willing to spend money on necessary resources. CEO tells managers to lie to owners/developers of new building prospects. And five people quit in less than a month (not a coincidence).
