Cons
The company, like every other company, seems good and promising. However, you may not last here longer than a year. 1. Management - Management, like most managers in corporate America, are your enemies. They are not there for YOU. If you are not playing the unspoken game (that you may not even know how to play) you will be ostracized, retaliated against, and eventually terminated. 2. Racist - White/Caucasian employees are treated MARGINALLY better than Hispanic and black employees. You will see a white employee get more opportunities for time off, needs will be met easier, and overall are treated with a higher regard. 3. No Room for Growth - All companies promise internal opportunities, but this is not the case here. Layoffs are going to continue, and they're going to replace you with someone overseas to save the CEO and her friends money each month. The layoffs that did occur occurred to lower-level employees. There was no warning, and the CEO was very condescending when she did speak to us about why she chose to lay people off. Any promotions that are offered are offered to favorite employees or those who technically are already promoted and are getting yet another opportunity. 4. HR - There really isn't an HR here. Thery have a "People Operations" team, but they're there only to protect the Managers and the higher ups. 5. Culture - The culture is lackluster and extremely disassociated. They seem to falsify reviews and employee sentiments to make the company seem more well established and liked by the entire organization. Which is not true. The CEO is delusional to think that the company is in good standing. The employees and Drivers are not happy with the company. If you just need to get some funds and want to explore other options, you would at least have a year to do. This is not a place you want to put all of your time and investments in. They will terminate you wrongfully for anything. Stay away!
