Pros

Best work/life balance in the city. The people that work here are all friendly and there's a "family atmosphere" that helps make it a friendly work environment. The projects they take on usually have the feeling of giving back to the community or solving the greater problems.

Cons

Projects can be boring at times (no sexy clients). The process can be confusing and counter-productive; Heavy on strategic/and user-experience design with little or no time for visual design or innovative ideas.

Pros

Rockstar talent without the ego. A real sense of mission - to build great products and build a great company - that is shared by all. A supportive, open work environment. Nice benefits and thoughtful admins. It's a fun place to work.

Cons

All good things come to an end. The company has been consigned to the elysian fields of corporate entities.

Pros

You get to work with smart, talented people on interesting, innovative products. There's a culture of mutual support and work/life balance. Learning and professional development are actively encouraged. They're small enough to be able to seek out great clients. People move from here to other amazing places.

Cons

With demand for their services exploding, they're going through growing pains and resourcing for projects can be a challenge. There are also some operational inefficiencies that are just starting to be addressed.
