One of many - Intern Hudson Institute Employee Review

Pros

You get to select projects off of a list, thus you have the opportunity to work with topics that genuinely excite and interest you. It is purely online, which is convenient for those employed or in school. You do projects whenever you like, as frequently as you'd like. Very few projects have hard deadlines. The supervisor is very responsive to emails. Looks great on a resume.

Cons

There are almost 300 interns, meaning you are one of many and most likely will not receive a job offer. It takes months to get feedback, which they warn you about when you start. Interns that put in 30 hours of work per week get paid the same amount as those who put in 2 -- everyone is unpaid.
