Pros
Benefits are decent Company name will look good on your resume when you inevitably burn out and leave within 2 years
Cons
Everything on Ops has went completely downhill lately, specifically with Data Ops. All of the Ops teams are run way too lean and most people burn out within 2 years. Half the Data Ops team quit recently, so the team is in complete disarray at the moment. Our team, other ops teams, and the client teams all have made note to management that we never have capacity to take on work because we were so overwhelmed. They knowledged this and noted volumes will only grow, but refused to hire more employees in order to save $ The environment is extremely political and toxic. Management will put all the blame on you/ other less senior colleagues to save face At this point, there is nobody on the team left to help you. You will have no support and will be extremely overworked with no real opportunity for advancement, unless you plan on being there for 8+ years. The pay is underwhelming, they’ll try and extract the maximum out of you for as little in return as possible Overall, would strongly recommend against joining any Ops team here, especially Data Ops
