This is a good role for someone who can manage their own time and resources appropriately.
Cons
Working alone for a long period of time can feel isolating. There is no vertical movement in the company. There is no bond created, you are not a member of a team, you are not valued for anything outside of the immediate scope of your responsibilities. Your co-worker outside of your immediate group are faceless nameless people on a phone.
