Pros

Biggest pro is I learned quick that this company is a joke with poor products and very poor mid-level and upper level management

Cons

Where do I start. - New management who manages with a stick - CEO and execs took a small paycut when COVID hit while requiring everyone else to take larger % reduction in pay. - Laid off employees due to "COVID" and then hired replacements 2 weeks later (to avoid paying severance) - Smoke and mirrors - shows their old capabilities to prospects which IFS is discontinuing and moving to a new platform. Customers are not being told about this migration which will cause a ton of pain to redeploy (substantial upgrade at minimum) vs. being transparent. - People working here have been with the company for 20 + years in some cases. Typically this would be viewed as a positive, but I found most of these people are extremely lazy and know nothing other than IFS (don't know the market, don't know the competition, have stopped growing).

Cons

As a growing company, processes and priorities can change quickly, requiring employees to be adaptable.

Pros

As a sales rep at IFS, you have a unique opportunity to disrupt the ERP, EAM, FSM and AI market by providing robust industry specific capabilities across each of these solution areas on a single platform that addresses a lot of the critical pain points customers have today with legacy/traditional enterprise software providers. IFS invests deeply not just in their platform but also in brand and marketing. This creates a lot of exciting opportunities to be relevant to your customers and prospects (i.e. Big Ten sponsorship and F1 Cadillac sponsorship). This is a good time to be a sales rep at IFS.

Cons

My biggest complaint is the recent turnover in leadership in North America. Created a period of uncertainty but has since stabilized for the most part. IFS has grown fast over the last few years. This obviously comes with some growth pains. For example, limited presales resources. IFS also needs to work on newer customer references. IFS has typically relied on the same customer references which are strong but it would be powerful to see new customer references emerging from some of the newer larger customers IFS has acquired over the last few years.
