I sincerely tried to think of pros, but I couldn't come up with a single one.
Cons
I saw a review from a current employee that stated, “Competent employees are not micromanaged”. After reading that I couldn’t help but give my 2 cents. I feel that I am a highly competent CRA, yet I too felt micromanaged in my day-to-day work. It seemed as if I was a workhorse, i.e. just another CRA helping their bottom line. I did not feel valued for my contributions or work ethic. I was there for a little less than a year and in that time 5 people left. When you have a total of approx. 15 CRAs- that’s pretty bad. What’s crazy is that people don’t leave in order to pursue a promotion or new opportunity – many end up taking the exact same position at a different company. I think that speaks volumes about how badly employees want to leave IMARC. I could ramble on and on about the cons of working here, but I won’t. Since leaving I’ve realized that they have a reputation around Cleveland- and it’s not a very good one. However, I will say it is one that they rightfully earned. Leaving has shown me that my hard work will be noticed, appreciated, and fairly compensated.
