Pros
I was an employee at IMPAK Corporation more than a year ago. Mostly, what I’m surprised at is why aren’t all the people that the CEO has done things for stepping up to say something….???? It’s uncommon for the CEO to personally get involved in assisting their employees because things could potentially go awry. However, the CEO at IMPAK has shown a level of care and compassion by helping his employees in various ways and I will mentioned just a few. Here is example’s I know of the CEO’s involvement in aiding some colleagues; he assisted a colleague in buying a house and that person became a first home owner, helped another co-worker with mortgage payments, gives loans to individuals to assist them with they’re rent, and so forth. These actions clearly demonstrates his concern for the well-being for those who worked/works for him. I am also aware of at least two employees who received bonuses for the year that were nearly $50,000 as a gesture of his appreciation for their hard work. This goes to show that the CEO takes the time to acknowledged and reward excellence within the company. It seems to me that BOTH current employees at IMPAK and former employees who have moved on from the company does not appreciate how much time and effort the CEO put into helping them, especially those who have directly benefited from his assistance. OH, and one more thing!!!!! IMPAK has a profit sharing plan. Some people complained when they stop “the matching 401k”. But the IMPAK profit sharing just gives you money and it gives you more money than a 401k. Most of all, some of the biggest complainer that would leave, for example, let’s say in September and then the next year they still get paid the profit sharing one year after they’re gone. Like I said from the beginning, sometime, the CEO’s too good to people and they don’t appreciate him at all. I think he should hire a different kind of people.
Cons
At IMPAK Corporation, the training provided through one-on-one interactions are pretty thorough, covering essential protocols and company expectations like SOPs and so on. However, some employees (and former employees) seem to overlook the value of this personalized training and continue to complain about the lack of guidance. Moreover, it's disappointing to witness grown professionals at our Los Angeles office engaging in conversations solely focused on pop culture trends, particularly the Kardashians. To me it can be quite embarrassing to see adults so immersed in such discussions, even during work hours. This distraction can be exhausting for those who prefer a more professional environment. Overall, the constant complaints and distractions from pop culture topics can make working at IMPAK Corporation a challenging experience for those seeking a more focused and professional workplace atmosphere.
