Iqos are a heated tobacco company owned by Philip Morris. They claim to have an obligation to help people get off smoking even though these are the same people who got people on cigs in the first place. The reality is the government are trying to convert smokers into smokeless alternatives and so all these companies are trying to create products like Iqos as a means to meet the expectations set out by government. I was placed in random supermarkets and off licences trying to push sales via an agency representing them. We even had lots of strict instructions such as not to say that they are healthier than cigs because they were worried about getting in trouble if we promoted it incorrectly. You also had to haul around a massive amount of stuff. And the campaign was so poorly run. I got turned away at times because places were not expecting me and apparently could not accommodate me. They also had a terrible app system that never worked. I only took this job on out of desperation when I was in a tight situation but I quickly escaped and found something better.
