Pros

- Our staff is LOVELY. - The providers are fantastic at what they do and great patient advocates.

Cons

- Salary: Low pay, they utilize salary to overwork you and expect extra hours daily, plus weekends. Will work up to 12 days straight. Expected to be available after hours even after this. - Minimal training. They throw you to the wolves and are expected to hit the ground running. Human Resources: Suggestions fall on deaf ears. Fairness or guidelines aren’t followed between clinics. Some clinics under their umbrella allow hybrid/remote work, while others say this company doesn’t allow that. You get a different answer each time. Clinic was told by HR we should be grateful for our pay since we have extra benefits (pet insurance discount, Verizon Wireless discount). - No maternity leave from a company who makes its money on creating families

Pros

The people I work with are amazing. You do get free IVF cycles once you've been there a year.

Cons

The pay is very low (especially considering we live in CA) and they don't like to give raises. Cost of living raise was 2% last year. Patient retention is paramount and comes first before anything. Patients who are nasty, who verbally abuse the staff, they always get what they want (discounts, free cycles, requirements waived, etc). They don't want to risk any bad reviews. We are also working with very little staff and it's very hard to convince the higher ups in NJ that we need help. They are all about the "numbers" and they want us to suffer and get patient retention higher before they will approve more staff. Mistakes are blamed on you and you not being efficient and not on the fact that we need more staff. It's obvious to patients now how bad staffing is. Training was almost nonexistent, and turnover is common (at least with nursing). Oh, and there is no company maternity leave! You get what your state gives you. Pretty sad for a company that is helping people have children.
