Pros

Flexible schedule, remote work, no set vacation days, growth opportunities, you essentially run a one-person department so you don't get micro-managed, but on the flip side, you don't have anyone to ask questions

Cons

Can be hectic, lots of changes and transitions, low pay and few benefits, since there are so few employees you can be overworked in positions you don't want to be in

Pros

Lots of opportunity to take ownership of projects from beginning to end with the autonomy to make high-level decisions. Because the team is so small, you get to know everyone really well. Even though it's a start-up there is still a good work-life balance. You have the option to work remotely a couple days a week and when otherwise needed. Stock options are offered to employees, and they are the same level of stock as the executives/board/investors. The office is nice and located next to the University Mall and lots of restaurants.

Cons

Typical early stage start-up cons. If you're used to being told what to work on, then working at IXN will be a struggle. For a while there wasn't very clear direction from the executives on the direction of the company, but that has improved dramatically. No insurance or perks besides working remotely. Pay isn't great, but that's kinda expected considering the infancy/size of the company.
