Pros

There are a few who are legit skilled and talented. The company should them but instead they're the ones ignored.

Cons

Working with a bunch of know it all thinking the really know everything was stressful to deal with! The arrogance and narcissism, its unbearable and almost feels painful!

Pros

I've been with Idea Grove for 10+ years and have seen the agency evolve over time, and am genuinely excited about where we are right now. Our clients are wonderful (innovative, collaborative, and truly nice people), and you won't find a more talented team. Everyone is sharp, humble, and always willing to step in and help each other out. Our PR team especially stands out--consistently landing top-tier coverage which is no small feat in today's media environment. IG has also grown its performance marketing offering (SEO, PPC, LinkedIn ads) to give clients more ways to increase their visibility. Our culture and innovation wouldn't be what it is without Scott: he's created an environment that is supporting and caring, while always looking to improve, innovate and bring new value for clients. Because of that, we're always testing new tools and experimenting with new ideas, which is one of the things I enjoy most about my job. As a mom, a huge pro for me is our remote model. And since most of us are in Dallas we're still able to get together in-person as a team and with our local clients. We also have membership in a coworking space which is nice when I need a change in environment. I also appreciate how we're a fairly flat org with high autonomy and trust. Everyone has a voice and the freedom to execute, but there's support when you need it. This structure lets us innovate quickly and stay ahead of client needs and market shifts instead of getting stuck in process for the sake of process.

Cons

The fast pace of agency life isn't for everyone, but as someone who thrives on challenge and variety, I much prefer this above a more slow-paced and monotonous job!

Pros

The office was fine when people weren't around, and I guess the remote option was there if you pushed for it.

Cons

- You could pour every ounce of effort into your work and absolutely nobody would notice, like you were just throwing words into an empty void, which maybe sounds manageable at first but eventually wears you down completely. - I'd finish projects, meet deadlines, produce strong work and then just... nothing. - No acknowledgment, no appreciation, not even a basic "good job" to suggest anyone actually noticed what I was doing or cared that I existed. - It's this miserable dynamic where you're expected to constantly perform and stay invested while there is zero effort from management to make any of it feel worthwhile, and honestly it becomes draining fast. - After months of that, you start questioning whether you're even doing anything right or if anyone is paying attention at all, and eventually all motivation disappears because why keep trying when recognition never comes. - Just invisible, completely invisible.
