Pros

The pay was on time.

Cons

At first, I was told I’d have steady work, but management repeatedly gave false assurances and then abruptly let me go despite still having work available. There was no warning, no explanation, and no consideration for how this would affect my livelihood. The experience was extremely unprofessional and showed a lack of honesty and respect for employees. If you’re considering working here, be aware that job security is unreliable and management does not communicate transparently. I would not recommend this company.

Pros

Image One is one of the most flexible places you will ever work for. There is great room for growth using modern technologies.

Cons

The company doesn't seem to know which way it is heading and seems to be trying to bite off more then it can chew. There is not a huge amount of potential for long term career growth as a developer.

Pros

Great place for some experience in digital imaging and mail processing, software design, sales and learning the ropes for sorting documents.

Cons

Frustrating many times when your told to do things you haven't been trained to do, new jobs pop up out of the blue and you have no idea what to do but told to do it only to find out everyone has done it wrong and need to start over with "FINALLY" Documentation on how to get it done, to add to the frustration your essentially a lab-rat beta tester for their on-site software design team where-as if you work in the department that depend on their software for your job duties you basically aren't getting paid to test the software even though they pay people to test out the bug's. I believe Imageone should pay the people who have to deal with the software on a daily basis at least a cut of what the Software developer's make since we are having to deal with all of the problems and report them and in some cases troubleshoot some of the issue's because our job function depends solely on it. The company seems to not know what it wants to be which is why it makes it even more frustrating to work for them. management is kind of shady the way they deal with certain people, it's a bit of favoritism with this company which is why i say don't get comfortable, unless your brown nosing you wont get far here, you also need to make sure your not secretly being plotted against, lots of smiles ready to back-stab you at the slightest slip. You could be doing a perfectly good job and still get thrown under the bus by Supervisors and Management, as well as co-workers. Training and doing more work does not get you more pay unless you beg for it, you could literally learn all there is to learn for a certain department and they will keep you at the same pay without assessing you for a raise, you have to go out and ask for a raise.. I kept the same pay for almost 2 years before i got fed up and asked and did not get my fair raise that i should have gotten quarterly instead they gave me one raise that one quarterly raise for that period. Promotions aren't their forte' you basically work in one position for nearly a decade before they seek you out for a higher position. (Well unless you brown nose your way up the food chain.)
