Their Heart Is in the Right Place - Customer Success Manager Imperative Group Employee Review

Pros

Some of the nicest people you'll ever work with -- as long as you're extroverted and done paying attention to the pandemic. They want to get to know you! In person, regularly, indoors, with no masks. You can work remotely! But you'll need to fly in once a quarter for a design workshop that attending remotely is optional for, but strongly discouraged by company culture. You'll be working on a product that really matters, but it's struggling to find a market fit. The benefits are great, even if everybody is paid well under market value.

Cons

Leadership at this org seems more focused on their own titles (C-Suite) and being friends with each other than they are on growing and supporting the business. There's little to no career pathing; any development you need or want will need to be done on your own time. Goals are often nebulous and untethered from a sense of purpose; they're just KPIs that you need to hit to earn a measly quarterly bonus. Depending on your role, you may be in meetings all day long with no breaks to breathe or use the restroom, or you may be sitting alone in your home for hours with nobody to talk to and no sense of community.

Pros

- We are solving for meaningful connection at a time in the world that it's needed most. - The product works...truly. Every single day we get to see that we are enabling breakthrough conversations among peers inside organizations at scale. Our end-users tell us things like "I've known my colleague for 10 years prior to this and got to know them more on Imperative this year than the entire decade before." In some cases they are meeting their peer coach for the 1st time and report having a breakthrough conversation in the first hour on the platform. It's inspiring! -We have fun as a team. :)

Cons

I really don't have cons. I think the reason is because I love the start up and fast growing environments. I'd imagine if more structure and less problem solving is your thing than maybe the current stage of the company isn't for you.
