Pros

It was a job, i did learn a decent amount about how to engage people via the phone. This company is like a cross between inside sales and market research, kind of a strange niche. There are no promotions, you get projects, you do the projects,

Cons

Tiny little company, the true definition of a "mom and pop shop" run by a husband and wife, who can be volatile to one another, and to employees. They want you to live and die for their company, however, you are not compensated in such a fashion.

Pros

I have contracted for Impole off and on for almost 5 years. Sometimes part time and sometimes more. The role fits my downsized lifestyle. Recently I went into early retirement, but Impole has offered a new project. I am considering it for the 4th Quarter. Impole provides their clients with an excellent service. We gather actionable results for lead generation and market intelligence. There is an impressive roster of past clients and their current projects are no less interesting. The ownership are good people. They are completely focused on helping their clients. It would be a great place for someone to learn the basics of sales ... prospecting!

Cons

My experience thus far has had no negatives. The management is upfront on their expectations. They want quality telephone conversations with decision-makers/influencers so they can help their client increase its revenue ... period. They are quick to eliminate poor performers.

Pros

Launching pad for better opportunities at other organizations, flexible with being out of office if needed, have office room to yourself.

Cons

Does not pay employees for 5+ weeks sometimes, part time hours vary and employees are notified on a day to day basis -- sometimes the morning of work (instability), no sick days allotted, unrealistic sales quotas expected, tube monitors, very old computers, Microsoft Office 97, no career advancement, can't WFH, penny pinchers, company morale is horrible.
