Pros

In Home Therapy offers the kind of flexibility that’s rare in healthcare. You create your own schedule by calling your patients directly, which allows for a great work-life balance. Sessions are always one-on-one — no groups — so you can focus on meaningful, individualized care. What really sets this company apart is the therapist-first culture. All clinical managers and directors are licensed therapists, so there’s a deep understanding of what the work involves and what kind of support is actually helpful. This creates a pro-therapist environment where your voice is heard and respected. There’s a strong commitment to ongoing education, and the leadership is genuinely invested in helping therapists grow. The back-office team is also outstanding — organized, responsive, and always ready to assist when needed. Everyone, from the leadership team to field staff, is focused on patient care. That shared mission makes a big difference day to day — you always feel supported in getting your patients seen, scheduled, and cared for.

Cons

As with most home health roles, success requires strong time management and self-motivation. You need to be comfortable working independently and staying organized with your own schedule and documentation. Communication is strong, but since the team is spread out, you don’t have the in-person camaraderie of a clinic setting.
