Thanks for your review! We are building a team of caring and smart people to help bring our mission to life. Our team culture is very important to us, so we’re glad you feel the same. You’re right that we do offer an unlimited PTO policy and it’s there to help ensure a work / life balance for our employees. In fact, during the recent stressful times of the pandemic, we’ve even added six paid holidays (InStrider Wellness Days) to the calendar to give employees extra three-day weekends and an opportunity to rest and reset. And thank you for your feedback about management expectations. We aim to set clear management by objectives (MBOs) each year to ensure transparency and alignment on expectations at the get-go but also leave room for re-evaluation Please don’t hesitate to also reach out with any more details you’d like to share: Feedback@InStride.com.

Pros

I joined InStride recently and it feels like I've been here more than a year! The mission for helping frontline workers & employees access life-changing education feels really rewarding, and it feels really good to wake up every day knowing my work is tied to something so impactful. The people here are not only smart and driven but also genuinely fun to work with! (Lots of humor!) Cross-functional team members never fail to roll up their sleeves to help each other and support. Biggest plus: Given the nature of the business and client needs around data transparency and ROI, investments in Data & Analytics is a big win! Analytics isn’t treated as a back-office reporting function, but as central to driving key business decisions and solving business problems (ROI, LE Funnel, data quality, CP trust etc.) Unlike many ed-tech firms, I think data here feels like a core part of the product/platform and client value, In many ways it drives retention, expansion, and overall business defensibility.

Cons

Workloads spike during peak client deliverables, so balancing priorities is key. ( Data & Analytics team is growing, but still lean for the company of this size) We use many different tools, some of which could be consolidated to simplify work and protect budget.
