Pros

This was once a good starting position for educators in the past. Two years of my life was spent here, and I have good memories from my time here.

Cons

It's with a heavy heart that I give this one star review. If the exchange I had recently had carried even a little respect for me and other teachers, I would have left three stars at least. I would have given it a higher rating in the past. I worked from 2022–2024 and the position had genuine merit. Even though the pay was low, it allowed me to grow as an educator and I met many talented individuals from Korea. One of my students was a candidate for Vice President at Samsung. The middle managers, while watchful, were kind all things considered. This has completely changed. At some point after I left in 2024, pay was cut by 30%. This company now believes it is acceptable to pay teachers with Master's Degrees, teaching certificates, and state licenses $6–10 per hour to instruct Korean executives and millionaires. The new supervisor, who goes by Tom, made clear he holds educators in contempt. When I asked for reasons behind this drastic cut, he replied in caps, insisting it was justified because in his words "about 30% of our tutors have already accepted it." That is an incredibly low bar. His own numbers implied the vast majority of instructors had already left. His answer to my concerns? "No explanation needed." To make matters worse, when I began applying for new positions, this company declined to provide any employment verification for my two years of service. This tells you everything about how In Touch values its teachers not only will they underpay you while you're here, they won't even acknowledge you existed when you leave. Catastrophically Low pay. Aggressive management. No employment verification for departing staff. This is who In Touch Language Inc. is now and these are things they do.

Pros

The training was relatively easy.

Cons

My experience with Intouch was extremely disappointing due to poor communication and a lack of transparency throughout the onboarding process. I repeatedly provided my availability and asked for clarification regarding the start date, contract timeline, and next steps. Despite multiple follow ups, my questions were never clearly answered, and important information was either delayed or not acknowledged at all. As a result, I was left trying to make scheduling decisions without the information needed to do so. Ultimately, I was denied the opportunity, despite my efforts to proactively communicate and move the process forward. I understand that hiring decisions do not always work out, but I expect professionalism, clear communication, and timely responses, especially when candidates are being asked to commit their availability. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Intouch, and I would encourage the company to improve its communication and support processes for future applicants.
