Pros

Logging on and off whenever you want. Good if you love inToronto. Usually they’ll dispatch more than one order at once. Hr is so sweet. The trainers are nice. LCBO orders don’t take long to do.

Cons

Wish I could do LCBO orders only as this company is very poorly organized. Worst than instacart if you factor in all the kilometres you are expected to drive. Company should wonder why there is such a high turnover. No one wants to drive 200 Kim’s daily. They don’t pay for mileage. Pay doesn’t change whether 109 items order or 5 items order. Sent me to three different cities in one shift. They don’t track your GPS. Impossible to remove an order unless support does it or you mark it as delivered. I could do 5 sometimes 6 deliveries max(18x5=$90 or 18x6=$108, for one whole day’s pay, less than minimum wage),in one day cause orders would take long or customers would live extremely far from the stores for example I once shopped an order in Oakville and had to deliver it to Aurora. Was told I wouldn’t be assigned orders outside my zone but was anyway. You can’t pick orders you must only do those that are assigned to you.

Pros

There are no Pros to working for this company.

Cons

This employer always kept us guessing whether or not we’d see our full paycheque without having to chase them down every two weeks. Absolutely no communication, no schedule, extremely dangerous working conditions riding e-bikes through london traffic in winter months is treacherous and worth way more than minimum wage. These people were shady and dishonest, treated their employees like trash.

Pros

Every day is different; shopping different orders in different major chain stores throughout the city, meeting different people at each delivery. I have expanded my knowledge of the city streets and neighborhoods exponentially, and I enjoy the freedom and mobility of choosing my own routes and routines. The things I enjoy the most are: I choose which days and at what time I want to work every week, and I can change my availability as I wish. I I enjoy working independently, I enjoy the task-oriented nature of shopping each list and completing each delivery on time. I enjoy the variety of new and different products that I have discovered, areas of the city I've never gotten to travel to before, and meeting new people each day. Ultimately, you are in charge of how much and when you work, and you can be as proactive as you like to be.

Cons

The most challenging aspect is time management, each order has a one-hour delivery window, and sometimes the item lists are long and the addresses may not be close together. Additionally you need your own collapsible dolly/cart, plus large carry-all type bags including a cooler. The payment system is also somewhat reliant on tipping, which can be inconsistent and not necessarily based on performance. Also, there can be slower days where you may not get to do as many orders and you would like to.
