Pros

The company culture is supportive and collaborative, with team members who genuinely help each other out. Work-life balance is excellent—reasonable hours, no regular overtime, and management respects your personal time. The management is transparent, communicates clearly, listens to employee concerns, and provides fair professional growth opportunities. I'd recommend Inceptive Consulting to others looking for a healthy work environment where you can grow professionally without burning out. It was a positive experience overall.

Cons

Nothing as such I noticed.

Pros

Great opportunity to do everyone’s job except your own

Cons

Please be careful before joining or working with this company. Based on my experience, their work culture and business ethics are highly questionable. They follow an unfair “hire and fire” policy with no job security for employees. Employees are often treated poorly and made to do tasks outside their job role, including downgraded or unrelated work. The company’s paperwork is unprofessional — in some cases, documents lack proper authorization or owner signatures. They make false promises to clients, claiming to deliver high-quality products quickly, but they often lack the necessary domain knowledge and skills to do so. Their focus seems more on extracting money from clients rather than delivering genuine value. In short, this company is not trustworthy for either employees or clients. Please research carefully before associating with them.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We clearly let you down and reading about your negative experience was a humbling moment. We take this critique with complete humility and are committed to understanding where we have fallen short. On job security and layoffs: You're right to call out our staffing instability. While market pressures and client funding changes were factors, we take full responsibility for these decisions and how they were handled. While all impacted team members received the agreed-upon compensation and support, we recognize these transitions are inherently tough, and we regret the lasting impact they had. Any support and flexibility wherever possible during this transition, has been provided. We continue to diversify our client base and build more stable delivery pipelines to ensure continuity and security for our teams. On being assigned work outside your role: This is completely unacceptable, and we hear you. While such cases are not the norm, even one instance is one too many, and we will review whether all work being assigned truly contributes to each role with a clear escalation path if anyone is consistently assigned inappropriate tasks. On documentation and paperwork issues: The fact that you experienced incomplete or unauthorized documentation is a serious compliance concern. We're conducting an immediate audit of all employment files and contracts, to be completed within 30 days, including updating the team induction and separation process, wherever necessary. On client commitments and domain expertise: Your feedback that we make promises we can't keep, and lack necessary domain knowledge, is perhaps the most serious allegation. We cannot and will not dismiss this. Every project discussion at our sales stage is guided by a technical evaluation of our ability to deliver. If we don't, we either bring in expertise or decline the work. We owe this to both our clients and our team members who are left trying to deliver on unrealistic commitments. While technical evaluation has been part of our practice, your feedback underscores the importance of ensuring those standards are more consistently applied and clearly communicated throughout the project lifecycle. Our business is built on delivering genuine value to our customers — reflected in our long-term client relationships and our ability to sustain ourselves in a competitive industry through commitments that are fulfilled by our team, not just promised. We know that long-term client relationships and team investments matter, but they don't negate your experience. Both things can be true: we've done good work for our clients, and we failed you significantly. If you're open to it, we'd welcome a private conversation to better understand your experience and ensure we've captured all the areas where we need to improve. You can reach me directly on my email ritesh@inceptivetechnologies.com. Thank you once more for your candid feedback; it reminds us that our commitment to a culture of ownership, accountability, and respect must continue with the same focus as day one and there’s always room for improvement. We wish you the best in your career.
