Pros

Good technology, exciting innovation, contact with tech landscape. If you're good and have good relationships with your team, you will have good opportunities.

Cons

Terrible leadership from the top down, no accountability whatsoever, everyone's just passing the ball from team to team without taking responsibility for anything. Very nepotist, decisions based on unclear rationale. Very toxic environment based on gossip and doing whatever the CEO wants even if its bad - no one will challenge it. All of the processes are a mess making it very hard to work in any department. I have worked at many tech startups in different stages and it is no excuse for things to be as messy and bad. Would not work here or recommend it.

Pros

Inspiring: People are all highly driven and inspired by the company Work schedule: Flexible when it comes to working from home/office

Cons

Figures of authority: Rarely chosen for their experience, but rather due to personal connections with leadership. This results in certain individuals lacking the skills required for the roles they were hired for - though they certainly don’t lack the salary or full bonuses that come with the role! Environment: You’re expected to be constantly connected, even during evenings and weekends. I suppose this reflects the reality of many U.S. companies, so don’t expect a healthy work/life balance. Discrimination: Although the company promotes an inclusive culture, unfortunately, that’s not always the case. Certain individuals (mostly based on appearance) are favored and prioritized over others. Motivating factors: Rather than fostering motivation through positive reinforcement, the company sends a clear message: you are replaceable. If you don’t perform, you’ll be removed, like a faulty part in a 'machine'
