Pros
You would be hard-pressed to find a more wonderful, intelligent, hardworking, dedicated, and kind group of people. It's no wonder the company feels like a big family - it was started by a father and son. IR+M genuinely cares about the growth, development, and well-being of its employees. It's clear not only in their financial support of continuing education opportunities, but in managing principals attending fundraising events put on by even the most junior employees, the annual charitable granting contest to provide financial support to causes their employees care about, the deeply rooted investment in participating in and bettering the local community. I could go on and on. It's a special place and anyone would be lucky to work there.
Cons
Because the company is so wonderful, there is very little turnover, especially at the upper ranks. The lack of attrition, while an indication of a company that does a lot of things incredibly well, can also mean that there aren't a lot of opportunities to advance for more junior employees. All-in-all it's a pretty good problem to have.
