Pros

Some creative people on the interactive development side - some interest in new technologies - some web savviness scattered here and there

Cons

Where to start. Promotions and revenue-generating accounts given to favorites rather than based on competence; management's expectations are more based on how much time you can keep your butt in the seat and/or on the phone rather than your productivity; marketing dept run by the CEO's lap dog and upper management fascinated with whatever management book came out this week; turnover rate that even a fast food restaurant would be ashamed of

Pros

This company is going places - It's been very exciting to see so much growth in just 4 years! Leadership has a great vision and it will surely take InfoSource to the next level, foreseeable within the next 5 years. At the moment it's still a pretty small company, so everyone works very hard and takes on many different responsibilities. I love that I've been able to multitask on so many different projects because each day at work is different and exciting! Management is fantastic; everyone truly cares about their team and coworkers really support one another. There is absolutely no micromanaging here. Moderate guidance allows a lot of creative freedom and the ability to think critically and problem solve on your own. Company benefits are also fantastic - 4% matching 401K, health/dental/vision, paid holiday and vacation time, company bbqs, pot lucks, and even a yearly Christmas special: Ina's famous biscuits and gravy. Very casual dressing attire - did I mention that the majority of the office wears bunny slippers?! I have a total of 3 pairs now.

Cons

Not so much a con if you can respond well to change, but it's a pretty dynamic work environment. Things can change on a daily basis, so it's not uncommon for employees to have to drop what they are currently doing and refocus on an immediate project that needs to be completed/resolved. That can make things difficult as far as getting ahead on some tasks because the final product may have changed by the deadline. New ideas are encouraged on a daily basis but can be a problem to implement anything new when you are unable to take on more work due to a lack of resources.

Pros

Generous time off and everyone is pretty nice for the most part.

Cons

If you are under 50 and not a "Boomer", you will fit right in. I kept wondering how long they were going to let their sales people work there, until they are dead? Account management? Account executive? Think again. This is a wolf dressed up in sheep's clothing. A glorified telemarketing job, cold calling schools who have a huge lack of funding. Bad business model. marketing team is outdated and website is a mess. Clean it up and make a clean concise homepage. Its pretty bad when you arrive at a landing page and you are so confused as to what is going on, you don't know where to click.
