Pros

They put you to work immediately. I learned a lot about the industry during my time there. The people, including management, are genuinely caring and very nice. I got the sense that they really were invested in me, and wanted to see me grow in the company. They were very flexible with me as a student. I worked when I could, and there was never any pressure to make this job my priority over school.

Cons

When things are good they're great. But when things are bad, they get VERY bad. The environment was often tense and hostile, and the unpredictability caused plenty of stress. There's either pressure to perform every task flawlessly, or you were left to figure it out for yourself with little guidance or supervision. Due to the environment, there is a lot of turn over. In my time, I saw plenty of good, competent workers turn completely sour to it all and either quit abruptly or were suddenly fired.

Pros

I worked two summers as an intern and really enjoyed my experience overall. The work can be challenging at times but I never felt as though I was given something I couldn't handle and I was always provided guidance. I felt as though the CEO made sure to diversify the work I was given and give me tasks where she thought I could learn and grow. Every summer I learned new aspects of marketing and gained valuable experience. The work environment overall is really nice. The company tries to have fun activities such as company outings, happy hours and sometimes even nail experts come in. I felt as though the company and CEO worked really hard to make people feel valued and the perks were super different than what I had experienced working for nonprofits and in government positions in the past. The coworkers are mainly young (mid 20s) which is a nice perk and everyone is pretty friendly. Plus dogs sometimes come in!

Cons

The only main con was there wasn't a full-time opening when I graduated but overall a great company.
