I enjoyed my time working as a Scenic Design intern here and loved meeting everyone, including the wonderful Ms. Holli. The atmosphere here is so welcoming

The mission of this organization/ dedication to bringing arts education to Los Angeles is amazing and true to heart. Staff are loving, creative and good people all around....

Unfortunately there are many....As a teaching artist, you are toted as this cornerstone to the great work of the organization, yet there is NO ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT AT ALL. Whether you are full time, part time, contractor, they never advance one's position or give any substantial raise. Program staff are barely making ends meet. It's actually really sad for such an organization with their mission. Other staff members have said that it is top-heavy with management who make all decisions. Only few people in the organization are given opportunities to grow (senior staff), while others have to comply with their position (everyone else). If you bring up professional or creative matters up, management will nod their head and say, "thank you for sharing...let's have more conversations about that" and then no decision will ever be made.....Annoying and goes nowhere.
