Pros
Convenient location. That’s about it.
Cons
They hire people for three months then let them go. They get government incentives for new hires and when those are gone they force you out by cutting your hours or plain out yelling at you and calling you childish names. There’s no training on their software. The owners tell you they are going to teach you but they just throw you in and tell you to fix the program but you can’t get access to the program. One of the lowest paying jobs I’ve had but they promised to increase the pay after 90 days. Well the job didn’t last 90 days. They fought me for unemployment. Nothing but a headache. The owners don’t give you the materials needed to make the machines. They reuse old parts and sell them to customers as new and then the machines break. Their software doesn’t operate properly. The owner does the sales and promises things that can’t be done or he won’t fund—just tells the staff to figure it out. They don’t pay their vendors so you can never get anything you need. They purchase machines that should go to scrap and then sell them to customers as new machines. Rack up the pricing and charge/blame customers for everything. As far as working there you’ll get calls at night, weekends etc. work life/home life is non existent and they don’t compensate for any additional time. They have one project manager that does everything—sales, design, graphics, he makes the machines, he checks them and will deliver them all on a salary. The company makes staff sleep in their cars when going out of town on company business and don’t pay for food etc. The company doesn’t provide basic necessities such as toilet paper or towels. No one cleans and it’s super dirty. They lock up the pens and paper. Computers are super outdated. It takes them weeks to grant you access to Microsoft. There are busy times and you’ll bust your butt to throw together (and it won’t work) then they will cut the hours but still want you to come in in the morning because they want to see you there. It’s all family and like three people who are not related to the owners. They ask you to lie to customers.
