Pros

Honestly not too many, some of staff are friendly and will hep you with your RBT certification.

Cons

The office/clinic is very cliquey and they dot really seem to respect you and don't pay well. They are a smaller company so I didn't expect the best HR department or lack there of.

Pros

Insight Behavior Partnership was a fantastic company to work for. They were flexible with my schedule, had a great team of BCBAs, provided ethical services, and had sick time accrual for part time members. I felt supported in my role as an RBT and was able to get supplemental training when I needed more! I truly appreciate this company and the investment in my professional growth.

Cons

Clients are far out but they pay if you are driving between clients.

Pros

This was a paid internship which was a plus

Cons

I was very confused by the structure of leadership or oversight, which seemed to switch rapidly between completely absent or micromanaging. New hires who don't have the proper training or certifications are left alone with clients who have severe behavior way too quickly for both client safety and staff safety. I had a client who confided in me that they were suicidal (while I was the only person at the office), and called for help and it was the most nonchalant "whatever" response I have ever seen. There was no risk assessment, crisis intervention, or safety planning at all. When I asked what their policy is regarding mandated reporting, I was told they don't have one. The way the situation was eventually handled damages trust with clients. I almost never saw my supervisor or had them present for sessions. I disagree with the way they apply ABA and found it to be extremely traumatic or created masking behaviors in individuals with autism.
