Pros

Passionate people working on things never been created or thought of in the world of security. There are many career paths and it's open space for you to explore them. Everyone is contributing in their own way. Free catered lunch everyday, flexible working hours and fun company events. Everyone feels like a tight knit family and all working on something amazing.

Cons

Sharing what Insight Engines is working on. Since we're developing a new technology it's hard not to talk about it, and so when interviewing people and talking to prospects having to beat around the bush is difficult.

Pros

It has been a long time for me since I worked in a small startup but here I feel like I've made a good choice. The team has been awesome in helping me get acclimated to the environment and technology: I never felt judged when asking for help and given the time needed to learn new stuff - being the new guy is never easy. The tech is a lot more exciting than may seem to the outsider and I think this is one of those startups that has a lot of potential to be successful. Management is intelligent, approachable and treats people with respect and appreciation and very responsive to family needs like PTO and WFH. Free lunches and snacks are a plus and the team knows how to have fun so good conversation is never in shortage. CEO is very passionate about the product and has a solid vision but also a very nice guy and never forgets to thank the people that make it happen and is very open to the input from the team. Unlike in a big shop I feel a lot more integral to the team and the product.

Cons

Medical benefits are more expensive than some of the big companies and the stock options don't have the same immediate benefit as in a public company but could be well worth for those that stick around.
