Pros

I mean, it pays? That's sort of it for pros.

Cons

Benefits are pretty bad, they give you very little time off, and they expect you to meet quotas that may or may not be realistic. A depressing job.

Pros

I don't have any complaints about the years I spent with IMS. The work was challenging and interesting, the modified schedule made work/life balance great, the supervisors are encouraging and approachable, and management was nothing but understanding and accommodating . Great benefits!

Cons

Bitter colleagues who should move on

Pros

Stress is simply nonexistent at this job and no office drama or politics to be seen nor heard. The office is located in PB, less than a five minute walk to the ocean. The supervisors keep everything low key, even the CEO and Director of Ops are very down to earth and helpful. Casual dress code. Nine hour days Monday-Thursday (with two paid fifteen minute breaks and an unpaid lunch) and a half day every Friday gives me a flexible enough schedule to have a life (plus I don't have to take my work home with me). Paid time off begins accumulating your first day, paid holidays after your first three months, and they pay for your 24 Hour Fitness membership (there's one located directly across the street).

Cons

The job is not super exciting and can get boring at times, so definitely bring some headphones with good music and/or podcasts. Not everyone in the office is talkative or social, but they're really chill and they don't cause problems. The pay is not the best but they do have scheduled reviews where you can earn raises, albeit at small increments. I would say my biggest complaint is the medical benefits. The plans are for people who never need medical care or simply don't plan on going to a hospital for treatment. Not a whole lot of complaints. Like I said, the job is very low stress and after the first few weeks just about anybody can get a handle on what they do for their clients.
