Pros
The only pro to this company was that their salary and commissions were great... but I think this is the only reason people will stay at this company- because they pay much higher that they know people won't find better pay elsewhere.
Cons
There are so many cons to working for this company. Let's start with training: there is no training. At all. So if you are new to the industry be prepared to feel overwhelmed and get thrown in. Don't get me wrong, learning the system is easy and if you are a quick learner then you will catch on.. but other than that they just have you take a couple of online classes that teach basic Leasing/ Fair Housing and then that's it. There was no on going training after that other than a once a month required Grace Hill Class that is outdated and teaches nothing new. There are no standards, morals, or customer service. It's almost like they are naïve in thinking they offer any type of real customer service. They charge residents everything at move out. Full amount of paint invoice (instead of prorated paint) even if the residents only lived their 6 months. Full amount of carpet replacement at move out instead of prorating it like any other normal company. Sometimes if the resident had a large deposit, they wanted you to make up charges just to keep most of the deposit and not have to refund so much of it back to the resident, even if they left it spotless. They had one Christmas Party every year but that's about it. No other type of community service, or anything like that. I never felt like my opinions or ideas were listened to or valued. Each property kept to itself, never felt like I could reach out to anyone for any type of help on an issue which was frustrating. I did not feel like I grew at all at this company.. it was go to work everyday, do the same thing, go home, rinse, repeat. There was no type of employee discipline, in other words, employees did what they wanted, when they wanted, even if it was against "policy".. and nothing was done about it. It's almost like management was scared to teach their employees how to do things the right way because their employees might get mad and throw a fit. Property budget was unrealistic for the needs and accounting department was terrible. Medical/Dental was fine, but there is no 401k. If you are an individual who has no ambition to learn, grow, or have fun- then this is the perfect place for you!
