Pros
-There was an open bar located on the main floor of the company. Anyone could walk up during anytime of the day and grab a beer or mix a drink for themselves. -Close to a lot of nice restaurants and the beach -Events thrown by the company were pretty good and made sure everyone had a good time
Cons
-Zero work/life balance. If you were seen sitting at your desk past closing time, you were seen as a great employee. Those people with family/kids/long drives were seen as less of an employee. On my first working day there, my manager recommended that I just stay at my desk past 6pm because it would look good to his boss! -Management made it pretty obvious that favoritism was their method of management/promotion. If you hung out with top management after work hours you had a much easier path to moving up. -Turnover was high, you would constantly see people start for a few weeks and then disappear. -Compensation was low considering how much cash the company was pulling in. And when it came time for merit increases, they were offered but with the promise that more would come later.
