Pros

Awesome team, great compensation and benefits. No one is micromanaging anyone and everyone is mostly open to feedback. Wouldn't be happier to be here 🥰

Cons

Night shift, but that's really it.

Really appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. And even more so, for being part of the ITS team. It’s great to hear that the culture, compensation, and team dynamic have made a positive impact on your experience. We put a lot of effort into keeping feedback flowing and the environment collaborative, so it’s encouraging to hear that reflected back. We also hear you on the night shift. It’s not always easy, and we recognize the toll it can take. While 24/7 support is a key part of what we do, we’re always exploring ways to make those hours more sustainable and to better support the people covering them. Thanks again for the honest feedback and the work you do. You help make ITS what it is!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for being part of the team. We’re really glad to hear your experience with your manager and teammates has been a good one. A strong team dynamic makes all the difference, and it’s something we work hard to build and protect. We also hear you on compensation. It's a concern, and you’re not alone in feeling that way. We’ve been taking a closer look at how we reward people, and your feedback adds to the conversations we’re already having at the leadership level. Appreciate you taking the time to share what’s working and what could be better. It helps more than you know.

Pros

Really awesome people you will be working with day-to-day. They are supportive and want to see you succeed at work It is a great way to progress your career forward if you are new or somewhat new to IT I would argue that the benefits are pretty decent: 4% matching 401(k), fully covered Medical, Dental and Vision plans with paid options at good rates with lower deductibles. About 13 hours of PTO accrued per month. In an era where many companies are demanding RTO, ITS is still pretty friendly when it comes to working remotely full-time.

Cons

It is an MSP and unfortunately it comes with the typical issues that most other MSPs have such as reluctance to adopt modern technologies (seriously working here is like going back to 2009), messy or missing documentation, subpar SLA adherence and most importantly: below average pay. As of recent, there has been a negative culture-shift at ITS. They used to pay for many certification exams and even give you raises for certifications. They still do that, but it is far more restrictive than it used to be. Also no more holiday parties as of 2024. Bonuses (which were already small) also got a significant cut in 2024. Upper management cares more about how they can sell a service or bill a client rather than making sure we are deploying the right solution. This always comes back to bite us as we have to deal with the fallout when the client inevitably has issues. VPN tickets are EXTREMELY common here. Business > technology at a ratio of 9:1 at ITS. The company talks a BIG game when it comes to security, but it is just a facade to sell more services to the clients. Security practices are subpar at best here. ITS will sometimes deploy Windows Server for clients WITHOUT ever activating it and act like it's no big deal. ITS likes to "merge" and buy out competing MSPs, which makes ITS bigger. The issue is that we now have many different teams with segmented workflows and "micro-cultures" and it makes everything all the more confusing.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We appreciate your comments about your teammates, benefits, PTO, and remote-work flexibility. We’re glad those parts of your experience at ITS have been positive. We also want to acknowledge the concerns you raised. Since this review was posted, our leadership team has reviewed the feedback and separated the items that should be addressed internally from the broader communication themes reflected here. While individual experiences can vary, especially as we continue to grow and integrate teams, we take detailed employee feedback seriously. Several of the themes you mentioned, including communication around compensation, certification support, team consistency, and operational standards, have been routed to the appropriate leaders for review. We recognize that during periods of change, it is important not only to make thoughtful decisions, but also to communicate the “why” behind those decisions clearly. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. Feedback like this helps us better understand where expectations may not be matching the employee experience and where we have opportunities to improve. We encourage employees to continue sharing feedback through their managers, HR, and other internal channels so concerns can be addressed directly and constructively.
