Pros
The agency world can be tough. You probably know this. I worked for two previous digital agencies before my time at Interactive Strategies and both were negative experiences in different ways. I was hesitant about joining another agency... but once I started at Interactive Strategies I was relieved to finally find an agency that treated its employees very well, was financially secure, and was experiencing solid growth across different departments. I'm happy to say that I have now been at Interactive Strategies for four years. It has been a fantastic learning experience. Pros: - Amazing employees and leadership - Leadership is dedicated to staff and promoting personal growth - Collaborative environment - Growing company with new opportunities - Fulfilling work - Healthy variety of clients - Great office and office location (I get to walk to work, yay) - Good work/life balance for an agency (average is about 45 hours a week, give or take) - No office politics - CEO sends out a yearly happiness survey
Cons
Not many negatives come to mind, but I'll give it a shot: - Crazy work hours on certain weeks (as with any agency, client work has to get done) - Growth has not been as fast as I had hoped... but this is not necessarily a bad thing considering the volatility of the industry - Healthcare plan is decent but can be improved - Interactive Strategies still struggles with scheduled yearly reviews, but this is in the process of being fixed
