Pros

*FACT* Below is my honest feedback that I have aimed to represent as factually as possible. Business Development: By the time you leave here, you will learn how to handle objections over the phone, sell yourself as a market expert in every field and industry, and build professional relationships that you can leverage in the long-term. Recruitment: They will train you to identify quality candidates, screen them over the phone, and obtain job market/hiring information that can be used for business development. You will also learn how to manage candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle and onboarding process. *OPINION* In my opinion, they will give you all the skills and experience you need to succeed at your next recruiting job. These are all very useful skills to learn, especially if you are also interested in working in sales or any other kind of client-facing career. However, these are also skills that you can learn elsewhere, and this company's culture may not be suitable for you.

Cons

Con #1: The vast majority of new recruiters who join will be fired or leave on their own accord within 3-6 months. While there are guidelines for measuring performance, these are not always explained thoroughly to new hires. This has caused significant stress for employees and has led to the deterioration of morale. Con #2: There is neither generational nor institutional knowledge within the company. This is not a fault of the company, as it is much newer to the market compared to other recruiting agencies. Nonetheless, the balance between graduate hires and more experienced talent is quite large, particularly because so many experienced recruiters left for better opportunities. I have seen the company try to develop an internal mentorship program, such as a monthly check-in between graduate hires in the US and senior recruiters in the UK. However, the program did not stick and was eventually phased out. While there were occasional training sessions, there was no program where graduate hires could shadow more experienced hires. Most of everything was learned through trial and error. From my perspective, almost everyone was just trying to survive. Con #3: The culture. People are scared to lose their jobs at any moment, especially after having seen entire teams come and go within months. Con #4: The job is fully onsite. Con #5: The workload is intense and unforgiving. Some will survive, many will not. While one could argue that this is just the nature of working in any type of sales or consulting role, the truth is that there are many successful recruitment agencies that do not place this much pressure on their recruiters to perform within such a short period of time.

Pros

-A business that is truly invested in your professional and personal growth -Best L&D function in our industry. I have been in other businesses (large ones) where this is not the case. Relevant individuals who are actual coaches. - Leadership who are involved in the day to day. The leadership at InterEx are supportive in the fact they aren't off the tools. They are deep in the day to day and no question is a stupid one. - Getting to be around the best in the industry. There are many industry leading billers in the company. They are not silo'd and live on their own island -these are individuals who bring up the level of everyone around them - Clarity: there is clear and tangible pathways for everyone in this business. People I speak to echo this.

Cons

None that I have seen in my tenure so far

Pros

There is not a single pro to this company.

Cons

This organization ruined my life for 6 months (and then some). The leaders are toxic and it’s an extremely hostile work environment. They had to shut down the NYC office cause their reputation in New York recruitment was THAT bad. CEO is an absolute narcissist, if you don’t drink the koolaid you’re out. Any “good review” you see is written by marketing. They monitor your LinkedIn so it’s impossible to interview or look for other jobs, you’re trapped. If you value your mental/physical and overall well being, run as fast as you possibly can from this disgrace of an organization.
