Good workplace, hands on and small team - Engineer Interface Displays & Controls Employee Review

Everyone is really nice and welcoming........that's about it If you like sitting around most of the day doing nothing and getting paid for it, then it's a perfect job.

Boring, Quiet, Not very good benefits, Owners don't really care much about their employees, Old building that is not kept up with, No raises in like 8 years and no room to grow, The technology is from like the 90's, which is extremely inconvenient when all your work is done on the computer.

People there seem nice at first.

HR is horrible. All she wants to do is gossip, and I mean BIG time. I ignored it at first, but it began to make me feel uncomfortable. She also likes to express her political views, which I usually don't mind, but I feel as though someone who works for Human Resources shouldn't really be taking sides with things or at least express it. I normally don't like to throw anyone under the bus like this but it was a real problem.
