Pros

Executives, Managers, and Individual Contributors have wide responsibility in their roles and feel the impact they can make for the company. Results of your work can be visible to Senior levels and the Executive team is very approachable. C-level leaders are hands-on and know the day-to-day projects and challenges across the business. IT, Finance, Training, and HR are often given recognition for projects that better the company, and while a close eye is on revenue and operating expense goals, the employees are supported by practical investments made in the tools and systems we use to do the work. Employee benefits and development programs are quite robust and impressive for a company this size. Intermec is a 40+ years old hardware business with new leadership that has taken the company from lacking profits, through an impressive turn-around, to creating new market opportunity in a short time. Intermec has smart people from the top down.

Cons

Pros

--Good work life balance --The employees were generally good, down to Earth people and fun to work with

Cons

--Constant fear of layoofs --Poorly managed company, no leadership --Little recognition for good work --Poor morale --Too laid back--poor performance was not penalized, great performance was not rewarded --Not a place for young people to grow their career--many work for less than two years and leave for better opportunities for better companies --Too political--management was ignorant to bad news
