- The folks below the VP level are hard working and generally good people - They do have some work/life balance outside of the Finance and Accounting areas
Cons
--Constant fear of layoffs as they think cutting costs is the way to profitability --Poorly managed company, no leadership in any area --Little or no recognition for good work --They expect you at times to work until 1 or 2 am in Finance/Accounting for weeks at the end of a quarter because of their broken systems. --Poor morale, especially in Finance --Too laid back--poor performance was not penalized, great performance was not rewarded --Not a place for young people to grow their career--many work for less than two years and leave for better opportunities for better companies --Extremely political--management was ignorant to bad news. Not willing to get rid of known dead wood simply because they play golf with the SVP. --Huge turnover, especially in Finance and Accounting --Very passive-aggressive environment especially in the senior management ranks.
