Prior to the acquisition by Honeywell, Intermec was by far the best company a professional could work for. Quotas were realistic and fair, work/balance life was a big part of the company's success.

--Constant fear of layoofs --Poorly managed company, no leadership --Little recognition for good work --Poor morale --Too laid back--poor performance was not penalized, great performance was not rewarded --Not a place for young people to grow their career--many work for less than two years and leave for better opportunities for better companies --Too political--management was ignorant to bad news
