Pros

IntraFi is a great place to work, with a culture that genuinely cares about its employees as people - not just as workers. One benefit I've personally taken advantage of is 2nd.MD, which IntraFi offers to help employees seek a second opinion or further investigate health concerns. While navigating a challenging health issue, it was incredibly helpful to have access to this benefit. 2nd.MD allowed me to connect with additional medical experts from across the U.S. who provided guidance, helped me explore options, and supported my search for answers. Overall, IntraFi demonstrates commitment to employee well‑being, not just in words but through meaningful benefits like 2nd.MD.

Cons

While it's not necessarily a negative, the process to get set up with 2nd.MD does require some effort, but that's becuase they take a thoughtful and thorough approach - ensuring employees receive well-researched, informed, and personalized recommendations rather than surface-level advice.

Pros

IntraFi is one of those rare places where the culture you hear about in interviews is the culture you actually experience every day. Leadership is transparent and trusts employees as adults—the flexibility, the open communication, and the collaborative approach to solving problems make it a place where good ideas can come from anywhere. The benefits are thoughtful and truly exceptional reflecting a company that sees employees as whole people, not just job titles. An equity stake is offered after your first year which makes you feel like a true owner benefitting from the company's success. Flexible work opportunities such as generous PTO, sabbaticals tied to work anniversaries, and a hybrid schedule give you room to do your best work and have a life outside of it. What stands out most is how the company shows up for people during major life events. Earlier this year my father passed away, and the bereavement support and overall care I received—from leadership down to my immediate team—was something I won't forget. It's easy for a company to say it values people; IntraFi proves it when it matters most.

Cons

Honestly, very few. As the company continues to grow, there's natural pressure to scale processes and tools to keep pace—the kind of growing pains that come with success rather than dysfunction. The recent shift toward more in-office days is an adjustment for some, though it's handled reasonably and communicated clearly.

Pros

I have been with IntraFi for over a decade, beginning my journey as an engineer and now serving as an IT manager. Over these years, I have witnessed the organization grow significantly while consistently staying true to its core culture and values. Mark’s leadership has been a strong example, inspiring me to define my own purpose and evolve from an individual contributor into a leader who can share and execute a broader vision. Through this journey, I had the opportunity to align my vision with IT leadership, resulting in meaningful investment in both my personal and professional development. This support enabled my transition into my current role and reflects the organization’s strong commitment to employee growth. IT leadership has consistently prioritized employee development, and my career progression is a clear example of that commitment. Our CIO, Randy, has also been instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning, particularly by encouraging and investing in AI enablement across the organization. Beyond professional growth, IntraFi goes above and beyond to create exceptional employee experiences for staff and their families. Laneyse and the Events Committee consistently make the impossible possible, coordinating memorable team-building opportunities and special events in and around Washington, DC, for employees, significant others, and families to enjoy together. One memorable example was a last-minute request for tickets to a hockey game at Capital One Arena on December 31. What seemed unlikely quickly became a reality thanks to Laneyse, making it a truly special experience for my family. This unique opportunity was made possible by our CEO, Mark Jacobsen, who generously makes his personal suite at Capital One Arena available to employees and their families to enjoy throughout the year. His generosity and genuine commitment to caring for employees and their families, combined with the efforts of so many others at the company, reflect the strong culture of appreciation and community that makes IntraFi such a special place to work. With over 20 years of experience in IT, I can confidently say that I have found my calling at IntraFi. For anyone with a vision and a desire to make a meaningful impact, IntraFi is an exceptional place to build a career.

Cons

None as far as I know.
