Our team and culture are our most valuable assets. We have strong communication and I'm very interested in feedback and constructive criticism from our team members. We're not perfect but when we discover any shortfalls we work quickly to make corrections. My sole interest is creating a safe space for our patients to begin on a path towards sobriety and I strongly believe that starts with a cohesive and supportive staff.
Cons
Working in substance abuse treatment comes with obvious challenges. When our patients arrive, many of them are in crisis and are facing significant challenges. We have had team members in the past with their own unique philosophies on how to approach these matters, but we've found the best approach is to adhere to the structure set forth by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
