Pros

Coworkers are nice. The company is in a fairly neglected healthcare space so the work does make a difference in patient's lives. The engineering teams have a lot of say over the tech and are given relatively free reign to make changes.

Cons

Intus Care is run by 3 friends who dropped out of college to start the company. They have no work experience at all and are completely out of their depth when it comes to leadership and running a company. The CEO and COO just work in sales all day, the CTO stepped down as CTO and is now off in a corner just doing flavor of the month engineering projects on his own. As a result the executives are completely uninvolved with the software at a software company. The company has no leadership, no vision, no communication, constant fights between departments, and no direction at all. The company has reorganized multiple times, which results in random firings and then hiring for nonsense positions where no one knows what the position is supposed to be accomplishing, including the people hired to these positions. Each reorganization accomplished nothing besides shuffling job titles around and nothing actually changed since no one was told to do anything different. Each firing comes with no notice, no warning, no severance, and no sense behind it. Most employees have no idea what they should be working on and are afraid that they will be randomly fired with no notice. Stay away if you value your sanity and care about job security.
