Pros

Day off on birthday. I wish i could say more, though thats all.

Cons

They ramble on about their important core values, though they dont even live by them themselves. Their only focus is how much money the company is bringing in, to the point where they leave their offices so severely understaffed as they dont want to hire more people and pay them a wage. This negatively impacts clients as you cannot complete their advice implementation within a suitable timeframe. Relationship Managers cannot possibly complete their work due to the insane workload. They take advantage of their hard working staff. I was bullied. You mean nothing to this company unless you devote your life to them, or are a financial advisor. Severely underpaid for my experience. Minimal training provided. Many staff members voiced their concerns about all the above, only to be brushed off. Unachievable HPI's.

Pros

Invest Blue has always been a people first business. If you care about your people, they will care about your clients. We work in small teams of 6-8, connecting with the broader business regularly. Given IB is a growth company, there is ongoing opportunity to consider other roles, learning and development. Plenty of people benefits, WFH options, flexibility.

Cons

Being a growth business, this means we can move at pace. That is not for everyone. You are expected to keep abreast via the internal newsletter, and Teams updates. Whilst communication is something that is continually focussed on for improvement, it's a 2-way street and you do need to be proactive in reviewing updates.
