Pros

Here's a company that had a unique offering that missed its chance to do some really interesting things in MR. Failing to invest in core assets and instead trying to become the next Salesforce.com was their biggest mistake.

Cons

Deaf and ethically irresponsible CEOs; poorly selected by the VCs who funded them for their experience outside the industry. How many times have we seen that fail?

Pros

- Everyone on the team genuinely cares about the business and wants it to succeed. - My coworkers are super helpful, always willing to tell me about what they do or answer any question I have. People go above and beyond their roles to help out wherever they can. - The product is genuinely amazing. I'm constantly in awe at what it can do and it seems our clients are, too. - Great, big-name clients which is rare for a company of this size. - The work you do truly impacts the company in a big way because the team is so small. - Great work/life balance. People respect the fact that you have a life outside of work and you're able to set your own boundaries and schedule within reason.

Cons

Just the typical downsides of working for a small company. I don't have a huge team which can sometimes be a drawback, but in the same vein, I have the flexibility to make the job what I want in a way and make a major impact on the company. If you like a lot of structure in a job, it may not be the perfect place for you. But if you like to determine your own path, be flexible in a role, and make a difference, you will thrive here.

Pros

Pres. Th. Roosevelt said it's a great prize in life to be able to work hard at work worth doing, or something to that effect. I'd add that it helps to have others in the company doing the same rather than watching and collecting a paycheck. Working at Invoke qualifies as a prize. Offices are not posh, hours are not 9-5, benefits (health esp) are v good but not extravagant. Leadership team is engaged, mature, prudent about risk, decent, fair, and smart. No 20-somethings driving the bus. Highly competent engineers, QA, research and Ops. Reasonably stable sales group. thin on marketing till recently. Family-friendly company, altogether.

Cons

Products, and service better than web site(s) would suggest.
