I learnt a lot on this job - everything from picking up technical skills to interacting and collaborating with people to deliver a project. Working with a lot of SDEs helped hone my critical thinking skills and technical know-how about how software backends work in general
Cons
Poor planning and management, especially in the TTS teams, leads to lots of unnecessary bureaucracy and intense pressure on the linguists in the team. Single threaded ownership, which people keep quoting to each other, is just taken as a way to offload all kinds of work on one person and make them the bottleneck for a project and then blame them if deadlines are not met.
