Pros

Wages are good but t not worth the treatment. Holidays are good but floating days aren't that! Your forced to take them when they want you too

Cons

Land Rover Solihull is run like a concentration camp! Breaks are a joke! You can't go to the toilet when you need too! You have to ask and mostly told no! PL's treat line operatives like dirt and are nothing more than bully's. Quality is NOT at the forefront of this company getting the numbers out is the only driving force! Moral amongst track staff is non existent and most are suffering from some form of mental illness. There's absolutely no chance of progression......once your on the track you will never get off. Health and safety is not adhered to! JLR would rather wait until and accident has happen then "pay off" the affected than prevent the problem beforehand. The onsite union is completely sided with the company and will never go against the say so of the workers! Management in general strongly look down on anybody that wears a green uniform. And sees them as a second class citizen. If your sick, you are treated like scum for not coming to work ill, the discipline system is so over used people are scared for there jobs constantly! Many many staff want out!

Pros

- Amazing work culture and work life balance - As a designer the world is your oyster of how you want to grow and develop - Manager is amazing at communicating your needs and empathizing with you - Everyone is driven to be a better designer and so much support from everyone

Cons

- Having to work sometimes really early or nighttime due to time zone differences with some of the people we work with - Projects & goals sometimes have to change in the week to better fit business needs and team goals.

Pros

Great work life balance Supportive environment

Cons

If you fall in the less than 3 years experience bucket, your best shot is the new graduate positions which have terrible pay and full-time employment after 2-years is not guaranteed.
