      Pros

      Worked with a very high caliber set of academics and peers; was given a lot of autonomy to pick up new skills and run projects.

      Cons

      Overall systems and coordination was suboptimal in a few places; didn't think RA's were supported in a consistent way and JPAL staff didn't always serve as strong intermediaries with PIs.
