Issues with upper management - Director JRI Management Employee Review

This company values its employees and they have good systems in place. This is my favorite employer out of all my previous jobs.

The staff shortage issue has made the industry really tough to work in so I decided to switch career fields.

Your opinions and ideas are taken seriously for the most part. I have had many personal suggestions and policies or ideas that have been put into motion. They have a strong female presence in management and they have great health care benefits. Salary is fair and is dependent on your ability and growth. There is a lot of upward mobility in this company. You can got pretty far if you show you want it and can take on the work and perform. They have a strong emphasis on training and my multi unit managers have always been easy to contact and supportive. They have great people in places of power.

They have a tendency to roller coaster about policies on labor budgets which can be very frustrating and hard to roll with. Especially when needs differ from store to store and market to market but I can respect they have needs and reasons for fluctuation and also financial info I am not privy to. On the single unit level this is one of the most challenging and irritating factors to control when it is always changing.
