Pros
Jetlore is an incredibly unique and interesting place, and working here has by far been the most rewarding experience of my professional career. The team is intelligent and friendly, the perks (awesome free lunches!) are great, and the company does its best to take care of you.
As with any startup, Jetlore is a very fast paced results oriented company. While some are thrown off by the pace, it's an environment where initiative, hard work, and successfully meeting your goals are rewarded and encouraged.
The company is growing at a really exciting rate, and the things each employee does have a lasting impact on the business as a whole. Even though I'm not a data scientist or an engineer, I can tell the hard work and long hours I put in actually mean something for the growth of the business. Naturally, the management team expects each employee to produce effective results and work well within the context of the team; they're always clear and transparent with their expectations of you in your role, and provide the tools necessary to exceed them.
What I find most encouraging is that the management team recognizes and emphasizes your strengths, and allows you to grow as an employee.
Cons
It's a very fast paced environment where the things you do day to day really matter for the business - so there's not much downtime. However, while things are hectic at times, seeing the business grow and succeed is really rewarding.
