Cons
Favoritism is rampant in administration.
Often people are not promoted unless they are are sleeping with someone, or are part of the social circle of the ones in charge.
Seniority counts for nothing, and I used to believe this is because they promote on "merit" but I later found out that "merit" can mean they are drinking buddies, went to school together, are related, etc.
